call forwarding from admin level

Hello guys,
im desperate looking for a way to setup call forwarding on some users, but from the admin level.
why? because if not, they can messed up call rules from their portal and we cannot rely on so many people touching or not touching that.
how can I accomplish this?

What you'd want to do is to set up the call rules for the user as you'd like them to be, and then remove the permissions on the user profile to edit/change them.

So, as an admin, under manage extensions, log in as that user to their portal.
Set up their call rules.
Then back in the admin panel, edit that user's permissions to disallow changing of the call rules.

Matthew, you are a genius. I even called support yesterday and (at lest the person who picked up the phone), didnt give me this solution. I was also looking for something scalable  (since I need to do this for so many extension, like 50 or 60). at least the user permissions I can set using a group right? can you think of any way I can template/group/something to avoid login to each extension and doing this call rules manually? thank you!!!!

Aside from perhaps monkeying with the APIs (which I'd avoid), unfortunately, I can't think of any way to do this as a bulk change at the moment (at least, the call rules part).  You can certainly change the permission on/off for users to have access via a bulk change, though.  As always, when making a system-wide change, I'd definitely recommend doing a full backup and offload it first, just in case.
