MOH is organized in groups of songs. Most MOH situations use the default group, which you can customize by adding and deleting songs. MOH in a call queue can use any group. For example, you can create a MOH group with announcements about special offers, and assign that group to your sales call queue.

Is this being considered for future releases? The music on hold functionality is definitely lacking in this product and makes me wish I had noticed before we purchased the product. As the original poster described, sometimes it would be beneficial for certain groups of extensions to be able to play certain MOH. I understand calling queues can play certain music, but what happens when a person answers the call from that queue and then parks or puts the call on hold? They get different music/announcements altogether! So you can have 10 queues with specific MOH/voiceovers but then when you press park/hold they all get the SAME default music? Unacceptable.
The default Music on Hold is the same for Parking Lots and any person on hold. You may submit feature requests by emailing switchvoxfeatures@digium.com. Feature requests are monitored by decision makers at Digium. These emails should include the specific feature request and the reason the feature is needed. This allows us to better understand the request. These request should be made by someone that needs the feature or has an intimate understanding of the need as we may follow up to ask clarification questions.
