Tony Telepak How do I get only the extension numbers and the first names to show on all of the D70 's buttons?
I have set the line labels on the extensions for only the extension and the first name. This works for only the assigned extension of the phone. When users create phonebooks for their D70 phones, the line buttons all show extension, first and last name. Is there anyway to change that?
The extension names (FN, LN) that you add to the phonebook cannot be changed. When adding extensions to the phonebook, the names are going to display however the extension was created. Basically it just pulls the first name and last name from the extension. The only way to do what you want, would be to change the extensions first name and last name from admin > Setup > Manage > modify the extensions > change the 'first name' to the extension number and the 'last name' to the first name.
Now when you add that extension to the phonebook, it will show the ext number (as first name) then their first name (last name).
