But, if the Channel lock that you mentioned on your previous comments means that there is zombie call (an active call, but there is no one using it) you could use the following CLI command in order to terminate the call (thus restarting the line).
This is no help.... we are looking at replacing 2 quintum boxes (they port analog lines from one of our offices to another) with asterisk and digium cards. Sometimes, one of the analog lines that we are porting from one loc to another will 'lock up' and the only solution currently is rebooting the quintum box .... what I am hoping is that an individual line on say, a TDM410 can be manually 'reset' so we don't lose all conversations on all lines just because one locked up....

Is this for a Switchvox appliance? What do you mean be reset one line? Here are the instructions for configuring an analog card with Switchvox.
