If you are sharing video on Google Chrome or another browser but your viewers just see a black screen, it is most likely because your hardware graphics acceleration is not disabled in the settings.  There is a relatively easy fix for this that works in most cases. Here is how you disable hardware graphics acceleration on Chrome


You can skip steps 1-3 by entering chrome://settings/?search=Hardware+acceleration into the browser field in Chrome.
If you do this, jump ahead to "4." in these instructions.
 

1. In Chrome, click the options menu (top right corner), or type ‘chrome://settings’ in the browser.
2. Select Settings
3. In settings, click all the way down and click on ‘Advanced’
4. Look for a section called ‘System’ and disable “Use hardware acceleration when available”
